With defence demand anchoring growth, NATO allies and the US Navy are committing billions toward uncrewed surface and undersea fleets. Commercial adoption imight also happen as offshore wind, subsea infrastructure, and climate monitoring could find a use for persistent and cost-effective ocean operations.
